Originated from teh cosmic oceam as it was churned for the Amrit, by the devas and asuras,the consort of Lord Vishnu sits on her Lotus throne. She is compassionate and is called the “Thirumagal”,bringing all the six divine qualities to the household. She is welcomed into our homes by lighting a lamp every evening to guide her to us. Her four arms respresent the 4 goals of humanity – Dharma, ARtha, Kama and Moksha.
