Panchaloga idol of Parshwanath, the 23rd Thirthankara. Born 350 years before Mahavira, he played an important part in the revival of Jainism in India. He preached and practised the four restraints of Ahimsa, Aparigraha, Satya and Asteya. He is characteristically depicted with a seven headed snake covering him. A popular deity among Jains, his presence is welcomed in both homes and businesses to remind them of the Jain idealogies
